Nalichniki in Saint-Petersburg

Wooden window frame with ornamental pattern

It may be due to the fact that from the very beginning Saint-Peterburg had been built of stone, or may be because most of its wooden houses vanished in bombardments of WWII but I just could not find any of them in Saint-Petersburg. Yet, they have survived in its outskirts. This window, for example, is from Peterhof.
