Wooden house with fretwork and turrets

I wonder why rather few owners now build houses with turrets. I think just for their sake one would be eager to have this masterpiece of wooden architecture!

Rather unusual window frames is one more thing this house has to offer. At the opposite bank of the Volga, there are three more houses with exactly same, very typical art nouveau window frames. I have only seen them in that town, Tutayev, but nowhere else
