Half-refurbished wooden house

You may be surprised but I smiled when I had found this half-refurbished house in the town of Klin.

Yes, it is understandable – half of the house has recently been bought, and other half has kept its earlier appearance. Every time I see anything of the kind, I am curious what do the owners do with their house. Just imagine this house would keep its wooden façade: nothing special, hundreds (or even thousands) of this type can be still found in the Moscow region. The whole of it, and not just one side, covered with siding would certainly not make my head turning: rather boring. And this two-faced one is really eye-catching!
