Я, удивлённо:
— Да я… — судорожно перебираю варианты, чтобы не обидеть человека невзначай, — я к сожалению… не успею вернуться домой до воскресенью!

Несколько секунд мужчина молчит, затем хмыкает и, просияв, медленно выговаривает:
— Ну конечно!
Затем резко разворачивается, и со словами: «Ну ты снимай-снимай», стремительно вбегает по ступеням обратно в дом.

  Esther Terry Kadyrova ….There is no English name for these windows…. My son is a traditional carpenter, and in English, the closest term would be ”Architrave”. [frame round a window or door aperture where it abuts the wall]….It seems to be a uniquely Russian tradition, the embellishing of the outsides of windows… Even in other ”wooden house” Countries like Canada or Switzerland, they don’t have the exuberant decorations. Here is a traditional English window [sadly plastic windows are becoming popular……a parody of timber.]
